We are the only English speaking instructor development center in Mactan.
Our IDC Teaching team is composed of 2 Course Directors, a Master Instructor, and a couple of IDC Staff Instructors to support and mentor your PADI professional career.
IDC Teaching Team is more than willing and ready to stay with you even as late as 9:00 in the evening to help you in areas where you need extra attention, therefore, you get more value for what you pay. Our IDC program will make you feel that you got the best value for your money!

FREE EFR Instructor Course
Being an EFR Instructor is a requirement for becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI). We offer this for free as part of your IDC with us so you don’t have to save up for this course. You just have to pay the instructor application fee to PADI.

Dive Against Debris Instructor course is a FREE PADI Application fee is an ultimate show and tell of your commitment to the preservation of our ocean, or playground or office.

ONLINE / HYBRID IDC OPTION
If you do not have 2 weeks to spare for your IDC, don’t worry. We can cut the in-person, on-site course by half by doing our hybrid option – the most flexible and practical way to start becoming a PADI Instructor!
How it works is that we spend all live presentations, classroom presentation online. We set a 3 hour session, for 7 days ensuring that you have learned everything you need to start your on-site, in-person, in-water presentations in Cebu.
All you need to get started is to sign up so you get your IDC eLearning materials, get it done before scheduling the online sessions with us.
You can then join the last week of your regular PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) in Mactan, Cebu, Philippines which is scheduled for 6 times every year.

Our Course Director
Our in-house PADI Silver Course Director, CD Darwin is not your typical instructor turned course director. In fact, he built a career in business management, hopping from one start up company to another to setup operations. Darwin understands that a new instructor must have skills, knowledge and goals to succeed beyond passing the PADI IE. His teaching style is focused on developing and mentoring leaders.
Darwin teaches over 15 specialty instructor areas. Getting your Master Scuba Diver Training or MSDT Prep, or IDC Staff Course, or help with your Master Instructor, he makes it easy and convenient for you.
Our PADI Instructor courses and workshops aim to equip you with skills, knowledge and business strategy beyond just passing the instructor exam (IE). We do not spoon feed, nor make you memorize concepts, nor force you to do what we want you to do. Instead, we make you understand and appreciate them!
Because our instructor development course is so intensive and inspirational, it will surely teach you how to teach people how to be scuba divers so that you come out very confident as a dive instructor.

EFR Instructor Course
The instructor course covers specific goals and performance requirements for the Primary Care, Secondary Care, Care for Children and CPR & AED courses, along with instruction on how to structure learning, the requirements of performance-based training, and your role as the instructor in the learning environment. Specialty Instructor Courses
More scuba diving and more fun as you share what interests you – that’s what teaching specialty diver courses is all about! The best way to learn how to make your specialty diver courses really special is to take a specialty instructor course from one of our PADI Course Director. We offer specialty courses in over ten (10) areas of interests.
All PADI Instructors will benefit from taking specialty instructor training courses. For instance, those who are ready to step up to the Master Scuba Diver™ Trainer (MSDT) rating need at least five (5) PADI Specialty Instructor certifications.
PADI Assistant Instructors, instructor candidates in training, and PADI Divemasters are eligible to enroll in certain specialty instructor courses. However, some specialties have additional prerequisites and exit requirements. Make sure to ask your PADI Course Director for details.
IDC Staff Instructor Course
IDC Staff Instructors are primary resources and mentors for instructor candidates during instructor training. With this comes a tremendous opportunity to positively affect the attitudes and abilities of the candidates, but it also results in a tremendous responsibility to remain current with PADI Standards and Procedures.
Master Scuba Diver Trainers (MSDTs)Â who are ready to be excellent role models and agree to use the PADI System and components in their entirety may enroll in an IDC Staff Instructor course.
